Available here, Wheelie Lite has been enhanced to:

• reduce power consumption to a minimum and allow every machine to enter its lowest sleep state
• give your mouse-wheel super powers
• work with Chiral-motion trackpads and
• high-resolution gaming mice
• pop up with a Win+<arrow key> hot-key
• avoid the Start Menu, the Vista Sidebar, the Google Desktop and RocketDock
• run on 32 and 64 bit Windows XP, Vista, and 7, with or without Aero

As you install Wheelie Lite keep an eye out for a browser window with some basic instructions to get you started. It takes a little practice to master some of the advanced Wheelie maneuvers and we hope you check back here for the latest tricks.

Wheelie Stunt of the day: Deep Zoom

Pop up Wheelie Lite and click the mouse wheel by pressing the wheel itself, not the button, until it clicks. You have just zoomed the middle thumbnail and Wheelie Lite is now 'stuck' to the screen so you can move the mouse over your thumbnails without Wheelie going away.

You can move individual thumbnails to new positions by dragging them with the mouse or zoom them with a doubleclick.

It is possible to zoom a thumbnail to where it covers the entire desktop. If this happens you can roll the mouse wheel and everything will go back to normal size.

Also, you can hold the mouse wheel down for a slower zoom or hold the Win key to pin Wheelie to the screen.
